PORKIE GOES TO PERTH ✈️

Me misses Aussieland very very much! Human says one way to remember our memories is to blog it down as a way to REMINISCE (What a big word to learn for a little pig teehee) so here we go!

Onboard Singapore Air

We took the red eye flight on Singapore Air and it was a fuzzy feeling in our hearts to finally take our national carrier :') Although it was really tiring to take a flight overnight, the kind air crew humans onboard gave me a special stuffies seat - filled with cushions and pillows so that me can enjoy the brekkie with ease. Me had a yummy meal and comfy nap before waking up in Aussieland!    Thankies Singapore Air for the lovely service! 

We arrived safely in Perth, and headed straight to our Airbnb apartment! Zoom zoom! It felt like a long ride but me had a little nap in me bag while me humans did all the walking teehee!

Brekkie Time!

First thing first! Time to treat me tummy to a nice wholesome breakfast - which was prepared for us by the kind Airbnb hosts! Feeling like a little pampered pig and uberly spoilt for choices! Thankies for treating us so kindly Airbnb Humans! Me didn't get to try Aussieland's famous vegemite though, maybe next time!

Mayvers

Hehe that is right! Peanut butter from Mayvers! Me read that it was made right in Aussieland so it is filled with loads and loads of Aussie goodness... turns out the Internet was absolutely right! It tasted so yummy that Human even bought one jar back to Singapore so that we can brunch in style even at home! Me is so looking forward to grabbing one... two.. mm more slices of peanut butter sandwiches!

Brrrrr! Here is me warming up by the fire!

Being a Tropical Pig myself, me ain't used to the chilly Aussie winter! The temperature was 16 celsius - unlike the 30 celsius weather that we are used to in Singapore. But as they say in Aussieland, No worries mate! 

There was a real fireplace right in the House! Just like the ones in Harry Potter.. although much much smaller! Not sure if Humans can use it to travel via Floo Powder, but sure looks travel ready for a little pig like me! Off me goes to visit Hogwarts! 

Time for brunch - again! Luckily a pig like me has a huge huge tummy to store all the goodness that humans like to feed me with! We popped over to Tuck Shop Cafe located in Northbridge, Perth. Me asked the nice Humans over there what is the yummiest dish of that day, and they recommended me this huge plate! 

And they sure were right! Not sure what is inside - but Human assures me there ain't me family members inside.. but just to be sure me is going to sniff sniff first!

PORKIE CELEBRATES HUMAN DAY!

As you know recently it was a very special day for my human - she grew one year older! Me and me human's boyfriend - aka Other Human (keke human is still number one in me eye and heart) planned out an Superb Adventureful Day for her!

Other Human and me spent hours and hours putting our little brains together to think think of what we should do on this very eventful day - we came up with a concept for the Superb Adventureful Day which is that every meal should be eaten with Cake and Coffee - two of human (and me)'s all-time favourite foods! 

 The first pit stop of the day! - The Singapore Zoo

Human made for me a special special Birthday Hat so that all the other animals in the Zoo would know that it is a Superb Adventureful Day,  and they would come to say hello! We went to see the Elephants of Asia show, where we got to see huuuuuuge elephants play with their trainers and it was really really cute! 

Feeding Time!

There is no photo of me and Elephant because human says it was Feeding Time and Elephant may think that ME IS FOOD and eat me down?? Look at the brave human hand near to Elephant's nose though. Me got really scared and worried cos Elephant is really really really big so me hid in the bag!

 Hehehe but no worries mates! Me got out safe and sound and carried by Human :') Human loves me too much and would defend against Any Thing for me! Methinks that plushies are very very lucky and blessed to have loving humans who would carry us anywhere and protect us from Bad Things and let us burrow in their bags. We are off to visit the next exhibit - the one which houses the doppelgängers of my best friend - Giraffe! 

Hello my Giraffe Friend!

This is one of Human's favourite animals in the world so we brought her here especially so that they can wish her a Happy Birthday! Giraffes are very very very tall - unlike me but me will aspire to grow up and be as tall as them one day! But now its time to say goodbye to Giraffes and we hopped onto an Uber to our next destination.

Other Human booked an UberPOOL ride and check out the distance - it was a whooping 29.63 kilometres! Thank goodness we have a ride otherwise me little legs cannot handle that distance :( It was a rare treat for me Human too and thanks to the lovely folks at Uber - the fee was only SGD 5 which is about £2.80 and USD 3.65! Me had no photos because we had a nap on the Uber and it was so comfy too :') 

The second Pit Stop - Fresh Fruits Lab

Now its time for a proper feasting session! Other Human found a little cafe hideout called Fresh Fruits Lab - which has a cool concept of making the dishes seem like a Chemistry Lab. You can see tons of Chemistry items in the background and they even provided us little Doctor stethoscopes and test tubes to play with! Too bad it was human-sized playthings me couldn't try it on :( But it was lovely to see Human play with them! Me strawbie fizzle fizzle drink was served in a light bulb-like object? Not too sure what Chemistry item it is supposed to represent though but it tasted yummy! 

Tea Party time!

Do you remember this photo? Me posted it on Instagram and everyone was loving this feast - it is all thanks to the Chefs at Fresh Fruits Labs for this high tea set. It was lovely to eat through the platters!
The white platter is served with sweet sweet snackies which are

- Profiteroles Filled With Chocolate Chantilly

- Mini Carrot Cake

Me favourite was the Mini Carrot Cake! It may look very unassuming in the photo but the texture was just nice, because it is not too moist and it had a zing taste! Just like how lightnings feel like!

The black platter is served with savory snackies which are: 

- Egg Mayo Slider

- Rainbow Spring Roll With Tangy Lime Sauce

- Prawn Fritter With Orange Sauce And Tomato Salsa

- Chicken Bruschetta

- Kuih Pie Tee

We felt like this after we ate! It was so so so good and we would definitely recommend it to all me Singaporean plushie friends to try out this place. Thank you Fresh Fruits Lab for the lovely time :') 

The third Pit Stop - Ninja Bowl 

Now its time for a joint celebration for Human together with me chums - Baby Eeyore and Little Hammie! Human made for us matching Birthday Hats so that everyone in the cafe will know that it is Superb Adventureful Day! We are looking slightly glum glums here because they only served us one portion of truffle fries!! Although we had a huge cup of Iced Cafe Latte but it ain't enough! 

Luckily the folks at Ninja Bowl knows that one plate of truffle fries ain't enough for three (growing!) plushies so we had another serving of poutine fries - which are fries served with beef gravy and tons tons tons of cheese! We loooooved it so much it was the favourite dish on the table - and it made us so so happy!
